Keds is undergoing a major brand refresh after its recent acquisition by the DSW parent company Designer Brands Inc. (DBI). YPulse told you how century old brands can stand the test of time by reworking and adapting to young consumers. Now, Keds is turning itself around with a focus on “values like inclusivity, optimism and playfulness,” which is clear in their vibrant and colorful new brand photos. Alongside a revamped logo, Keds dropped a new collection of sneakers featuring classic designs with modern twists, including the Keds Champion, along with three more upgraded shoes like “the sporty Court sneaker, a chunkier Platform shoe and an ‘ultra-feminine’ Mini that’s based on ballet flats.” Pricing ranges from $50-$80 on their updated website.
