Snoop Dog’s new coffee brand is inspired by his visits to Indonesia.

Mar 28 2023

Snoop Dog’s new coffee brand is inspired by his visits to Indonesia. The notorious rapper has seemingly been working around the clock on business ventures over the past few months, “he’s announced his own namesake breakfast cereal, filed a trademark for ‘Snoop Doggs’ hot dogs, and rolled out a line of THC-infused onion snacks.” Now, the latest in his branding extravaganza is a partnership with Indonesian coffee entrepreneur Michael Riady for INDOxyz. The brand is described as a “lifestyle coffee brand” and the beans are directly sourced from Bali, Java, Sulawesi, and Sumatra—although the brand is officially launching in California. INDOxyz coffee will be available through the brand’s website, BevMo, and GoPuff, as well as retailers Albertsons, Amazon, Erewhon, Pavilions, Safeway, Sprouts, and Vons. The brand is planning on selling whole beans for under $20 and a cold brew can for $5.99. We know young consumers love celebrity food collabs and our recent Food Shopping and Trends report data shows that young people of color (39%) are more likely to buy groceries from the international aisle than their White / non-Hispanic peers (26%).
