School cafeterias are going to start giving kids Lunchables.

Mar 16 2023

School cafeterias are going to start giving kids Lunchables. This week, Kraft Heinz revealed they’re “introducing two new Lunchables products to be provided directly to students in K-12 schools.” For the first time, Lunchables will be directly entering school cafeterias nationwide so kids no longer have to wish they could trade their mom’s egg salad sandwich with their friends. The ingredients have been refined to “improve nutrition” and adhere to the National School Lunch Program guidelines and the USDA’s “recently released proposed new changes to school food guidelines.” YPulse’s Cooking and Diets report data shows 58% of Millennial parents agree that they struggle to figure out lunch ideas for their kids, so having more familiar options for picky eaters at school could help relieve them of the chore.
