At-home hair coloring brand Hally is reaching college students. The Gen Z-focused brand recently added 100 new brand ambassadors, all from Baylor University. The students, who “have social followings ranging from 1,000-200,000,” will be posting about Hally’s $10 Shade Stix, which act as makeup for your hair. The brand launched them this week in yellow and green—Baylor University’s school colors. With a giant mascara-like wand, the Shade Stix can streak the colors into the hair, which the brand ambassadors believe is the perfect accessory for showing school spirit on game days. This is the first time a beauty brand has officially partnered with a university, but Hally is taking inspo from “Red Bull, Bumble, and Rent The Runway, all of which have also had successful college ambassador programs.” (Glossy)
