Afterpay invited a Gen Z fashion designer to run a workshop during New York fashion week. As a main partner of the NYFW events, Afterpay and IMG held a student-centered event in the Xperience Center of Spring Studios where fashion students from local schools were able to “participate in a live, interactive workshop with young designer Colin LoCascio known for his hip Gen Z clientele.” The students were challenged to “reimagine the fashion industry by creating a sustainable look using deadstock fabric from LoCascio’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 line.” By inspiring the next generation of designers through a lens of sustainability, the brand hopes to intertwine fashion and tech with an eco-friendly focus.
