Adidas is launching a Gen Z-focused Sportswear line fronted by Jenna Ortega. As the brand’s first new line in 50 years, Sportswear is meant to be positioned between Adidas’ Performance and Originals line. Targeting Gen Z, the Sportswear line is launching today and includes “the Tiro Suit Collection of tracksuits, the Avryn shoe, the Express Dress, the Express Jersey and the Coach Jacket.” Alongside Jenna Ortega who’s now the brand ambassador, “basketball player Trae Young, Women’s Super League forward Mary Fowler, Premier League current golden boot holder Son Heung-min and gamer Carolina Voltan [are set] to promote the new label.” YPulse research shows that while Millennials have more of an affinity for athleisure, Gen Z is more into streetwear—but both gens love comfortable fashion.
