Over half of Gen Z wants to work for a large company—and they’re only applying to jobs that reveal salary. According to a new Adobe survey of Gen Z university students and recent grads, “only 16% of respondents said they would consider taking a job with a startup or a small-sized company; 52% of respondents said they’ll pursue careers with large, established companies.” Given the uncertainty they’ve endured in their lives thus far, Gen Z is seeking jobs that provide more security and opportunities for growth. YPulse data shows the top 15 brands Gen Z wants to work for include big companies like YouTube, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. However, working for established companies is not all they want; the survey also found that “85% of respondents said they were less likely to apply for a position if its salary range was not disclosed in the job listing.” (Fast Company)
