Mocktail Club is a Black woman-owned company that’s helping people through Dry January (and beyond). YPulse’s research shows that 50% of 21-39-year-old BIPOC young people planned to participate in Dry Jan this year, and clearly interest in non-alcoholic beverages is continuing to grow. Mocktail Club was founded by Pauline Idogho when she found that most non-alcoholic options were also low on flavor. The brand’s line, which includes Havana Twist, Bombay Fire, Manhattan Berry, and Capri Spritz, aim to provide bolder flavor options, and are inspired by Idogho’s own “global travels.” The line is also health-oriented, with prebiotics and antioxidants, appealing to young consumers’ desire for wellness / self-care products that fit in with their less-than-perfect lifestyle.
