Gen Z is moving away from fitness goals in their New Year’s resolutions—they’re focusing on their mental health instead. The gen is invoking yet another cultural shift with an emphasis on mental wellbeing. Like we’ve said before, Gen Z is redefining wellness and our What Is Wellness? trend report data shows that 86% of Gen Z and Millennials tell YPulse that taking care of their mental health is just as important as taking care of their physical health. Forbes’ Health/OnePoll survey found that “50 per cent of people between the ages of 18 and 25 plan to work towards improving their mental wellbeing” for the new year. (Independent)
