Young people in France are smoking less weed. A new study by the French OFDT reveals that cannabis consumption has been declining overall in France since 2017, and one of the main findings is that the consumption among young people 18-24-years-old is decreasing. According to one of the researchers, this change can be explained by the fact that young French experiment with cannabis at an older age than they did previously. YPulse’s own data shows that 15% of French Gen Z and Millennials have ever tried marijuana for recreational use, the lowest across all five countries we survey in Western Europe. (France Info)
