Millennials are threatening to end an old political trend. The age-old rule, “If you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain” rang true for generations past, but not for Millennials. Previously, as young people aged they grew more conservative, but that seems to be ending with Millennials in both the U.S. and U.K. In fact, Millennials in these countries “are by far the least conservative 35-year-olds in recorded history.” Having lived through several global financial crises, this gen is more inclined to favor wealth redistribution to the poor. YPulse research shows that Millennials consider inflation and the economy to be the top two problems their generation is facing. (Financial Times)
