A Millennial therapist says “blocking out all the noise” is the most underrated skill young people need to be successful. Gen Z and Millennials are constantly hearing everyone’s opinions on how to live their lives. Not only are they hearing it from friends and family, they’re also subjected to witnessing the lives of strangers on social media every day. Young people are severely impacted by social media and YPulse research shows it’s had a particularly strong negative effect on young women’s mental health. (CNBC)
