Victorias’s Secret is partnering with NetVirta for a new bra fitting tool within the VS app. For those who are done shopping in-store or tired of awkward in-person fittings, the lingerie retailer has created a space for consumers to try on bras right from their phones. Finding the right size undergarments can be tricky to get right online, so VS is creating a way that will ultimately reduce the number of returns and improve the overall online shopping experience. The new tool within their app uses 3D scanning tech that will give users personalized size recommendations. YPulse research shows that brands should utilize augmented reality experiences to reach young consumers, as the majority (79%) of young consumers are particularly interested in augmented reality try-ons.
