Young, tech-savvy parents can now make baby registries in the metaverse. Babylist, a registry service, has launched Babylist Land – Gifting Edition, a virtual showroom space where consumers can explore “rooms organized by clothes, strollers, and other gear, click on the item to get more detail then add it to their registry or place an order.” Babylist Land provides a more immersive registry building experience, making it interactive, fun, and colorful since the company found that their users “spend about 40 hours building a registry so they want to spend a lot of time on it, and the metaverse is kind of perfect for that.” YPulse research shows more and more brands are diving into various types of metaverse experiences—and young consumers are interacting with them.
