Amazon is giving sports fans endless amounts of content with their new “Sports Talk” on Prime Video. Amazon wants to be sports fans’ go-to streaming service with their new live daily program that will be broadcasting Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. ET and will be available through Prime Video as well as Freevee (Amazon’s free, ad-supported service) and their live radio app, Amp. The tech giant wanted to create an “always-on” sports center for viewers and will include shows like Bonjour Sports Talk, The Cari Champion Show, Game Breakers, From the Desk of Master T, The Power Hour, and The Greatest Hour of All Time, “a re-airing of the best hour of the programming from the day,” as well as The Backup Plan, “with hosts Hana Ostapchuk and Jason Spells catching viewers up to speed with the highlights.” YPulse’s Media Consumption report data shows that a third of Gen Z and Millennials watch Prime Video weekly or more and 20% are watching sports / sports news content weekly.
