Paddington Bear is once again starring in Barbour’s holiday campaign aimed at sustainable gift giving. Thanks to his successful run in 2021, Paddington Bear is back for an animated ad where he finds the perfect “unique gift” for his “one of a kind neighbor,” grumpy yet misunderstood Mr. Curry. The luxury brand is centering their efforts around sustainability and the ad is promoting their “’Wax for Life’ promise and ‘Re-Loved’ circularity initiative which lets customers exchange one of its old classic wax jackets for a voucher.” Barbour will be cleaning, re-waxing, and repairing previously-loved jackets, making each one a new unique piece. YPulse’s Sustainability report data shows that Millennial parents are more likely than non-parents to buy sustainable and second-hand clothing. (Adweek)
