Disney is launching a new interactive virtual storefront on the Web3 ecommerce platform Obsess. Their new Disney Music Emporium online store is celebrating one hundred years of Disney music and will allow users to “discover soundtracks and songs from popular Disney films and TV shows by clicking on various vinyl records and CDs throughout the virtual space.” Users will be able to listen to tracks from films / TV shows both new and old and the “Disney100: The Wonder of Disney Music” musical timeline features fan favorites from the past century, like the 1928 debut of Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Steamboat Willie and 2016’s Moana. YPulse recently told you that Millennials are major Disney fans, and our Clicking on Community trend report shows that Disney is the No. 7 top brand they say they feel a sense of community around.
