Hollister’s app is letting teens share their carts with their parents—so now they can get exactly what they want for the holiday season.

Hollister’s app is letting teens share their carts with their parents—so now they can get exactly what they want for the holiday season. The new Share2Pay feature will allow users to share their filled carts with their parents in order for them to complete the payment process. The function is aiming to address the fact that many young consumers load up their carts with the fashion they want, but end up abandoning them because they don’t have the funds to pay for it all. Teen shoppers are Hollister’s largest demographic and being able to text their parents a link to their cart will allow them to follow-through with their online shopping even when most don’t have credit or debit cards. Hollister upped their efforts to reach Gen Z through a ton of influencer partnerships this year and because YPulse research shows that young consumers are trusting online influencers the most for product recommendations, more teens may be inclined to shop there (and complete their purchases now).
