Blackpink’s new record is breaking records.

Sep 27 2022

Blackpink’s new record is breaking records. The K-Pop group is already the most followed female group on Spotify and has more subscribers than any other artist on YouTube—and their new single “Pink Venom” is racking up mind-blowing numbers. The track, which was released in August, broke multiple Guinness World Records and has been watched over 344M times in just over a month (with 90M of them earned in the first day thanks to the group’s loyal, organized fandom). Now, their album Born Pink has premiered at number one on the Official U.K. Albums Chart—making them the first K-pop girl group to ever achieve the feat. YPulse’s music report data shows that Gen Z and BIPOC young consumers are most likely to be fans of K-Pop. (billboardVulture)
