Luxury fashion house Valentino is broadening its sustainability efforts by making its website more green. European fashion brands have been making strides towards sustainability in a bid to reach eco-conscious young consumers, including opening secondhand and rental marketplaces and introducing eco-friendly materials. But as technology’s impact on the environment becomes a larger part of the climate change conversation, young consumers expect brands to shift their digital practices, too. As part of its ongoing campaign to become a sustainable brand, Valentino hired a company to assess its digital footprint, which it will use to implement actions aimed at reducing its impact on the environment.
