Target is expanding their fashion with Future Collective, a new influencer-backed clothing brand. Set to feature a “rotating crew of style influencers,” Future Collective is intended to target young consumers with diverse fashion tastes. The label’s first partner is Kahlana Barfield Brown, previously InStyle’s beauty editor, known for her classic streetwear style with a unique edge. She plans on designing Future Collective’s first release with basics for all types of weather in mind. Sizes will be inclusive, ranging from XXS through 4X; and most will cost under $35. YPulse research shows young consumers enjoy shopping at big box retailers and 76% think it’s cool to buy clothes from places like Walmart, Target, and Amazon. (Fashionista)
