Snoop Dogg is launching an animated sing-along series for kids on YouTube. Look out CoComelon, Snoop’s new Doggyland channel, also available on YouTube Kids, is featuring kids’ songs and nursery rhymes for the platform’s youngest viewers. Snoop Dogg’s videos will reimagine classic songs “such as ‘Wheels on the Bus‘ and ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes,’ by infusing them with hip-hop beats and rapped lyrics.” Appearing as the animated Bow Wizzle, Snoop will sing along with an animated cast of pups including Wags, Chow Wow, Yap Yap, and Barks-A-Locks. The show is meant to be educational, fun, colorful, and Snoop says he wants it eventually to be viewed by all ages. YPulse’s Media Consumption report data shows 46% of Millennial parents say their kids are watching YouTube weekly or more. (Tubefilter)
