Salvatore Ferragamo is targeting Gen Z and Millennials in a new partnership with online luxury fashion brand Farfetch. YPulse research shows young consumers are redefining what luxury means to them—and this means staple brands are having to reassess how they approach the next gen of fashionistas. Ferragamo plans to reach younger audiences through Farfetch Platform Solutions, “the company’s white-label tech offering, to power its online store.” By using their digital platforms, Ferragamo is taking a page from Gucci’s book and plans on offering “new digital experiences for a younger, and as-yet largely untapped, luxury audience,” although the details of such an experience have not been released yet.
