Intro is the newest app connecting celebrities and consumers. Unlike Masterclass and Cameo, celebrities on Intro are acting as “personalized consultants.” Users will be able to book meetings with high-demand experts such as Oprah’s interior designer, Nate Berkus, and Michelle Obama’s hairstylist, Nicole Mangrum. Anyone will be able to schedule a one-on-one video session in increments of 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. New users will receive $10 off their first visit while celebs can charge from $100 to $500 for just the 15 minute sessions. Most of the people featured on the app are industry experts young people would not normally get the chance to talk to and ask for advice, making Intro a unique experience for Gen Z and Millennial entrepreneurs especially. YPusle’s Celebrity and Influencers report shows that while Gen Z favors online influencers, 74% of Millennial parents would rather spend an afternoon with their favorite TV / movie / music celebrity than online celebrity.
