Beauty influencers are frothing their skincare and makeup products on TikTok.

Aug 10 2022

Beauty influencers are frothing their skincare and makeup products on TikTok. YPulse’s Personal Care and Beauty Shopping report data shows 71% of Gen Z and Millennials agree with the statement: “I like to experiment with different looks” and it looks like now they’re experimenting with their products. Beauty trends are always coming and going on Gen Z’s favorite app—and now, blending products in a frother (yes, the tool baristas use to foam lattes) is the newest life-changing hack. It all began when @Glamzilla, the TikTok guru with 1.6 million followers, made a concoction of cleansing creams and powders and frothed it into a foam texture. Then, @AvonnaSunshine (175.3 K followers) jumped on the trend by frothing her Nars foundation. Although now, experts are warning not to do this with every product as it can take the moisture right out of products and make active ingredients completely ineffective. (Allure)
