Bumble is celebrating Black dating experiences in a YouTube series. Every week, Luv2SeeIt will share different Black love stories, discussing topics such as “dating as a nonbinary person, sex and intimacy and dating profile red flags.” The show will be hosted by artist Teyana Taylor, who invites guests like Madison Bailey of Outer Banks and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs into “The Rose Mobile” for candid conversations on love. The show comes following a survey by Bumble which revealed “nearly one in two Black or African American respondents reported that they would be more likely to feel worthy of love if there was a better representation of love in the Black community within U.S. society.” YPulse’s Representation in Action Trend Report data shows 85% of Gen Z and Millennials agree it is important to talk about representation, and 51% of BIPOC youth want to see their race / ethnicity represented in the media they consume.
