Ebay U.K. has launched a site for Black female entrepreneurs. According to an Ebay report, “One in five Gen Z consumers want to purchase from a business that supports people from underrepresented groups.” To make it easier for these shoppers to find Black-owned businesses, they’ve launched the new Black in Bloom hub that will feature fashion, beauty, and household goods brands sold “by graduates of the Black Girl Fest X Ebay Sellers academy.” The academy provides one-on-one training and ecommerce mentoring to Black women, girls, and non-binary entrepreneurs, who can then sell on the hub.
