Jul 05 2022

Former NBA player Jeremy Lin is launching a basketball school to inspire Asian youth. YPulse’s sports and athletics report found that 24% of Asian young consumers say basketball is their favorite sport to watch compared to 14% of White / non-Hispanic young consumers. And former NBA point guard Jeremy Lin is launching a basketball school “with the aim of motivating the next generation of young ballers of Asian descent.” Lin partnered with the Canadian Chinese Youth Athletic Association to open several programs in Toronto (his home city) later this year. The school will serve kids ages 3-16-year-olds with a curriculum that includes everything from shooting hoops to developing character to communication. (NBC News)
