Stay-at-home moms are more burnt out than ever. YPulse told you that young females are burnt out, with moms getting hit the hardest. According to Motherly’s State of Motherhood survey, which spoke to 17,000 people, Millennial stay-at-home moms feel “more worn down than ever” and report higher levels of burnout than working mothers. Fifty-five percent of stay-at-home moms say they “always” or “frequently” feel burnt out—a much larger percentage than their working counterparts. The burnout is affecting many aspects of their personal lives: 38% of moms are having less sex (1-2 times per month) and are less satisfied with their sex lives, and 42% of stay-at-home moms are “dissatisfied” or “very dissatisfied” with their own childcare situation.
