Netflix is introducing an Exploding Kittens mobile game, the latest in their escalating gaming efforts.The debut of the mobile game is set to reach subscribers ahead of the Exploding Kittens animated TV show set to be released next year. Netflix’s version of the game will feature exclusive cards with new characters that will appear in the show and allow players to participate alone or in a group of up to five people. In a kitten-themed game of chance, players will draw a card until the exploding kitten does just that—explode, and the game will start anew. YPulse predicted that as more series are turned into games that live alongside their original content, Gen Z and Millennials will embrace the gamification of their entertainment, and in the case of Exploding Kittens it’s happening in reverse.
