More moms are smoking weed.

May 12 2022

More moms are smoking weed. YPulse research found that 42% of Millennial moms have tried or experimented with marijuana, while our State of Mind trend data found that 56% have used holistic remedies, like CBD, to combat stress and anxiety in the last year. Recently, an increasing number of “cannamoms” have been turning to weed as a way to combat stress and burnout. Some moms are even creating resources to destigmatize the negative perception around cannabis use: the hashtag #cannamom on social media features videos of mothers talking about their experiences. Meanwhile, Wendy Brazill self-published the children’s book Why Mommy Gets High to help parents talk about pot with their kids, and Shonitria Anthony created “Blunt Blowin’ Mama,” a podcast and site dedicated to her experience as a mom raising two kids.
