Imagine is partnering with the Uglydolls creators to adapt NFTs into TV shows and movies for kids and families.

Imagine is partnering with the Uglydolls creators to adapt NFTs into TV shows and movies for kids and families. Imagine Kids & Family, which is the kids and family vision of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment studio, is joining the NFT craze. The studio is teaming up with Uglydolls creators and Bossy Bear showrunners Sun-Min Kim and her author husband David Horvath to turn their collection of original art and character NFTs into animated TV shows and movies for kids and their families. The couple entered the NFT market last year, and their character and story-driven collections sold out seconds after launching. Their most popular character is Financial Rune, which is a cat-like cartoon figure with a green face. Imagine joins a slate of kid companies, including Bureau of Magic, TIME Studios, and Xentrix Studios in a “burgeoning first-wave NFT adaptation push.” YPulse’s Buying into Crypto and NFTs trend research found that 58% of Millennial parents would buy an NFT for their child.
