Millennial moms are “prioritizing self-care.” YPulse told you how women have been especially impacted by the pandemic. And according to research from Zulily, while moms overall feel more overwhelmed by financial burdens, 70% of moms feel like they’re regaining control and confidence when it comes to preparing for their new baby, compared to one year ago. When it comes to parenting advice, 73% of moms still use a “phone-a-friend lifeline” for tips and advice while leaning on family and friends who are mothers, too. Meanwhile, moms are prioritizing self-care by getting into “self-love hobbies” to improve their quality of life. Over one-third of moms are including self-care as part of their beauty and wellness routines, 30% are organizing their homes, and 23% are shopping for clothes “to spruce up their wardrobes.” (Yahoo!
