The majority of the U.K.’s Gen Z say they miss lockdown. In a survey of 300 14-23-year-olds, 66% told The Face that they’re not necessarily looking forward to life fully returning to normal this summer. While lockdowns may have been challenging at first, many young Britons reported that the extra time to themselves led to improvements in their mental and physical health, as well as their overall happiness, and they’re not ready to let that go just yet. YPulse explored Gen Z and Millennials’ current mindsets about the pandemic in our WE The In-Between trend research and found that 53% say they like how their life is right now, while 53% say they don’t want to go back to a busy social schedule after the threat of COVID-19 has passed. What’s more, three-quarters say that the pandemic caused them to reassess what’s important to them. (The Face)
