Match launched a dating app exclusively for single parents. YPulse’s dating and relationships survey shows 14% of Millennial parents are single and looking to date. To support single parents, Match created Stir, a dating app meant for connecting single parents that “are oftentimes underserved on mainstream dating apps.” Users can display their “me time” availability—a.k.a. time spent outside of their day-to-day obligations and kids—to help matches easily coordinate calendars. Stir adds to Match Group’s growing list of dating services including Tinder, OkCupid, and Hinge with the hopes of “giving single parents a dating experience where they are celebrated and feel like they can be themselves.” (CNBC)
