London-based edtech platform Your Juno is aiming to close the financial gender gap and make financial education accessible for women and non-binary people. YPulse’s What’s Next For Work trend research found that the pandemic negatively impacted women’s careers far more than men’s. According to the Office of National Statistics, the U.K. gender pay gap rose from 7% in 2020 to 7.9% in 2021. The past two years have also been deemed “the worst year for VC funding in women-led startups.” In the midst of this, Your Juno—dubbed the “Duolingo of financial education”—offers users in-app financial education in a gamified way to help ”ensure that women and non-binary people are no longer considered a niche audience in the personal finance world.” (Tech.eu)
