DressX launched a digital fashion collection to support the people who have been affected by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The Ukrainian-founded company launched a Support Ukraine Collection on the DressX app Friday, featuring free, AR-led digital fashion pieces including a hat, dress, earrings, and a sweatshirt. The collection is intended to promote cryptocurrency donations, which will be used to support defense forces in Ukraine and relatable charitable funds. According to an Instagram post, DressX “raised and transferred 200 000 UAH = $6.6K to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine” in the first 12 hours of the campaign. DressX is a digital fashion leader that has worked with brands like H&M and Google, while helping pave the way for new Ukrainian fashion brands, too. YPulse’s causes, charity, and activism research shows that giving a monetary donation is one way young people show their support for causes they care about, and DressX’s digital fashion collection shows how brands are showing up for the Ukraine community.
