Dunkin’ signed its first college athlete deals. The coffee and donut chain is teaming up with Deja Kelly (a women’s basketball player at the University of North Carolina) and Matthew Boling (a sprinter and long jumper at the University of Georgia) who will debut on Dunkin’s roster and promote the brand on social media. Dunkin’ locations in the sports stars’ college towns will also sell co-branded athlete meals. Brands from Gatorade, to American Eagle, Denny’s, and more have been partnering with college athletes since the NCAA changed its policy last summer, and Dunkin’ is the latest to get involved.
