Coca-Cola and Molson Coors are teaming up on a line of alcoholic drinks tied to the Simply brand. Simply Spiked Lemonade is a new ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand heading to store shelves this summer—Coca-Cola’s third alcohol brand to join its portfolio alongside Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and Fresca canned cocktails. The drink will be sold in 12-can variety packs in flavors like strawberry lemonade, watermelon lemonade, blueberry lemonade, and signature lemonade, with some flavors available in a 24-oz stand-alone can. The competition to release a new, buzzy hard seltzer / RTD cocktail has been heating up since last summer, forcing some brands to bow out due to consumers having too many options to choose from (RIP Coors Seltzer).
