Taco Bell is challenging young content creators to create its next Nacho Fries trailer. Another year, another Taco Bell Nacho Fries campaign. For its next trailer-style ad promoting the return of Nacho Fries, the fast food chain announced on Twitter that it’s crowdsourcing ideas for its next trailer theme. Shortly after, Taco Bell announced that the Nacho Fries trailer would revolve around a loop story where the main character gets stuck experiencing the same day over and over again (basically Groundhog Day), challenging young content creators to submit their entries via #FriesChallenge for a chance to be featured in the next Taco Bell Nacho Fry commercial. Up to 20 entries will be selected and reviewed by a panel of judges who will evaluate the entries based on criteria and creativity. Last year, the Taco Bell Nacho Fries trailer (“Fry Force”) followed a fearless character named Rei who led an elite team in a battle against an army of monsters, and this year’s campaign marks the first time the fast food chain will have a fan-centered and fan-created spot.
