Kraft Mac & Cheese is saying goodbye to New Year’s Resolutions by wishing everyone a “Happy No Year.” Ah yes, another year is upon us, and as brands and consumers default to “New Year, New Me” messaging, Kraft Mac & Cheese is encouraging consumers to think twice about what they really want out of 2022. Building on its “Help Yourself” campaign introduced at the end of 2021, Kraft Mac & Cheese is wishing everyone a “Happy No Year” as it reclaims the idea of comfort. The campaign’s ad features shots of people saying “no” to anything that doesn’t bring them comfort, whether it’s saying “no” to working through lunch or acting your age. Kraft Mac & Cheese is also encouraging people to share their #NoYearsResolutions online. One of YPulse’s predictions for 2022 includes how young consumers will continue creating a “new normal” after nearly two years of living in a COVID-19 world, and many are embracing a lifestyle where they feel free to say no to more and be more selective about the events they take part in.
