Cameo and LinkedIn enlisted carolers to help workers craft festive “Out-Of-Office” messages. YPulse told you about this year’s next level holiday campaigns, and we’re adding one more to the list. Cameo worked with LinkedIn on #LinkedOutOfOffice Carolers, helping LinkedIn members “put the ho ho ho in [their] OOO.” The first 500 members who opt in will receive custom videos to display as their “OOO” message, and a standard video will be available through December 31 to anyone else who is interested. The campaign was inspired by a LinkedIn survey that found 27% of respondents planned to work anyway while off during the holiday season, and 34% felt anxious about turning on out-of-office messages. Additionally, 49% of respondents noted “OOO” messages would be easier to write or receive if they were more fun, while 36% said that they would benefit if more people used “OOO” messages. (Adweek)
