Denny’s is transporting consumers to a “real-life Matrix.” Movie marketing has been getting an interactive upgrade this year, and Warner Bros. is joining the trend (again) to promote The Matrix Resurrections in a partnership with Denny’s that will transport consumers to a “real-life Matrix” when they log into their Denny’s Rewards account through the mobile app. Users will be hit with personalized “glitches” granting discounts (like free menu items) and exclusive offers during a five-week period running now through January 4, 2022. All mobile orders over $5 are also eligible for free delivery until December 12. (UPROXX)
