NTWRK is diving into original shows to increase engagement for livestream commerce. YPulse’s shopping and retail research shows that 66% of young consumers are interested in livestream shopping, and mobile-first video shopping platform NTWRK is now producing “polished programming” to continue catering to young audiences who are interested in streetwear culture, influencers, and online shopping experiences. Soled Out (sneaker show), Meltdown (comic book show), and Wild Cards (sports trading cards show) are currently under development, along with Unhinged (shopping and dating show) that has temporarily been put on hiatus. Guest appearances from MLB player Harold Reynolds and more are featured in Wild Cards, and with NTWRK already a hit in China, the video shopping platform hopes to grow its 2.5 million app installs with new show offerings.
