Zillow turned their ad into a children’s book to help moving families. According to YPulse’s Life Plans, Rewritten trend research, 21% of Millennial parents anticipated buying a new home or apartment this year—and Zillow is appealing to their families with a children’s book aimed at easing the stress of moving. The Girl Who Didn’t Want To Move is an ebook based on the brand’s recent ad, telling the story of a young girl and her imaginary friends navigating a move to a new home. According to the brand, “We wanted to help parents understand that Zillow is more than just a resource for looking at homes.” Zillow’s research found that parents were more likely than non-parents to have moved this year, and a third were concerned those moves would cause stress for their kids.
