To “appease” Millennial parents, kid menus are getting an upgrade. YPulse research shows that 69% of Millennial parents worry that their family is not eating enough healthy foods, and according to Technomic’s 2020 report, half of Millennial parents say that healthier kids’ items would bring them into restaurants more often. Kids’ menus are being reshaped for the generation, with chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, and grilled cheese falling in popularity and mentions of broccolini and alternative proteins increasing. More “grown up” offerings are also being given to little diners. (Restaurant Business)
