Toyota wants to make a play for Millennial families with its next SUV. The automaker is reportedly planning the development of a new SUV to add to its growing list of vehicles. The unnamed SUV will be intentionally designed for American Millennials with families by offering 3 rows of seats inside the vehicle, creating enough room for a family of eight. Considering that the Toyota Sequoia is already a full-sized SUV that holds eight people, it appears Toyota may be hinting at an even fresher next gen vehicle that “will join a diverse, electrified product portfolio and will help the company get another step closer to Toyota’s global aim towards carbon neutrality by 2050.” YPulse’s Driving Forward trend research shows that 40% of young parents plan to buy an automobile within the next one to five years, and Toyota’s next gen SUV design could be what they’re looking for.
