McDonald’s and FaZe Clan are teaming up to launch a series highlighting diversity and inclusivity in the gaming industry. Collaborating with popular gamers is a hot trend among fast food brands, and now McDonald’s is partnering with FaZe Clan on new content, which will feature a range of different stories, from the growth of the FaZe Clan members and how they rose to the top of the gaming scene. The overall goal of the series is to “help improve the diversity in the gaming space” and show just how FaZe and McDonald’s are forwarding that cause. The deal marks “one of the largest fast food restaurant sponsorships in the gaming space.” And according to CEO Lee Trink: “At FaZe, we continue to move diversity and inclusion to the forefront of our priorities and are proud to partner with an iconic brand like McDonald’s [which] has paved the way.
