Jul 20 2021

Latino-owned Fuse Media launched a new streaming service to empower “multicultural Millennials.” Fuse Media has already launched several other streaming platforms so far this year, and Fuse+ is their latest endeavor. This one will focus primarily on motivational content targeting “multicultural Millennial and Gen Z audiences,” and changing the way those multicultural audiences are represented in the media. According to the company, their goal is “to create a purpose-driven content platform aimed at empowering and inspiring its audience through solution-oriented entertainment.” It will feature over 500 hours of original Fuse programming, which will include “bingeable” original series, documentaries, and films with “new voices and colorful stories that celebrate, motivate, and elevate.” Altogether, the network hopes that the new streaming service can unite the unique cultures that make up a “blended America” and can “positively shift viewers’ perspectives.” (Forbes)
