Marks & Spencer is expanding their underwear offerings with more inclusive “New Neutrals” lingerie. The U.K.-based retailer announced last month that it is widening its lingerie offerings by adding a more inclusive “New Neutrals” underwear range, which has more colors and sizes. Their most popular lingerie styles are now offered in five neutral shades—Opaline, Rich Amber, Rose Quartz, and Topaz—so shoppers can “complement or contrast their skin tones.” The inspiration behind the range’s title came from the terms “nude” and “neutral,” which have generally been used to describe “lighter skin tones,” but New Neutrals is a “truly inclusive range.” According to the company’s director: “We listened when our customers and colleagues told us we hadn’t got it right when it came to colour; both in the choices available and the way we talked about the neutral shades.” (Good Housekeeping)
